This stunning 14-year-old Himalayan cat had a wonderful life until her owner surrendered her to a shelter. She was left in a shelter because her owner was no longer able to care for her. This is all due to health concerns.
Meet Miss Molly. She was in the care of the Animal Rescue League of Boston at the Cape Cod Branch until she found herself a forever loving home.
This 14-year-old cat was waiting in the shelter for two long months. But one day she got determined that she’ll find herself a human. So she did! When a young woman came to visit the shelter one day, Miss Molly decided she wanted to go home with her.
Miss Molly wasn’t the only one that decided to get herself a human, because the young woman, Olivia C. had seen Miss Molly’s profile on Petfinder and had come to see her. They both immediately fell in love with each other.Olivia wanted to help an older cat, so she did. She didn’t want Miss Molly to spend the rest of her life in a shelter. When Olivia came closer to Miss Molly’s side, she jumped right in her arms. She just wanted to say hello.
What happened to Miss Molly next?
Miss Molly then started to purr and rub all over her. There was no chance for Olivia to leave out of there without Miss Molly. Luckily, she was not planning to leave without her new best friend. She was determined to take her home even though Miss Molly was showing early signs of kidney disease.
Since the moment the two of them got together, they both knew that this is the right decision. Olivia never doubted her decision to adopt Miss Molly, and she appreciated that by giving her human lots of hugs and kisses.
Olivia is happy about her decision and says that “senior cats are still full of life.” Every furry ball of cuteness, young or senior deserves to be loved!
